I bought a replacement Dyson battery and then, when that didn't get my Dyson Animal DC 35 to work, I had to buy a new charger as well. Unfortunately the charger had a continental plug rather than 3 pin uk plug, so it needs an adapter to work in the UK. However the vacuum cleaner now works!
