Battery fitting

In general there are three ways in how your battery fits your device:

Same size (internal) battery

This is the most common type. The battery from your device can be exchanged by a battery of similar dimensions. This can be an internal as well as a click-on back battery.

Extended back battery

Some devices have a battery that is 'clicked' onto the back. Therefore you don't have to open the whole device to exchange the battery. If the back battery is extended, it will stick out a little bit more than the original battery.

Extended cover battery

If an internal battery has greater dimensions than the original one, it is often possible to use your device with an extended cover. We will supply these extended covers free of charge with a battery whenever this is needed (if so, the icon indicates this). Dell X50 with extended cover battery
